Research interests:
Nora Melnikova works as a Lecturer of Hindi language and literature in the Department of South & Southeast Asian Studies. She studied Hindi, Sanskrit, and Second Language Teaching in Czech Republic and Germany. She taught Czech language and literature at Delhi University, and Hindi language and literature at Charles University in Prague. At present, her research focuses mainly on Second language teaching and acquisition. Her other research interests and publications center around Early Modern languages and literature of North India, and modern Theravada Buddhism.
