Grant handles Admissions, Student Funding, Academic Appointments, and Degrees for graduate students in East Asian Languages and Cultures, Buddhist Studies, Ancient History and Mediterranean Archaeology, and the Asian Studies M.A Program. For the SSEAS department, he handles websites.
Grant received his B.A. in Asian Studies from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.A. in East Asian Languages and Civilizations, Japanese Literature, from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Before arriving at Berkeley, he was a grants manager and arts & culture programmer at the Japan Foundation, New York.
